I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor having undertaking the Clinical Diploma in Clinical Supervision at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute.  The course is UKCP accredited and I am currently waiting for my UKCP accreditation as a supervisor to be processed (expected August 2026).  I am able to offer individual or group supervision to trainee counsellors / psychotherapists and qualified counsellors / psychotherapists of any modality.   I am also able to offer supervision to other related professions within the caring sector e.g. teachers, social workers, healthcare workers, coaches etc..  I have experience supervising people who are working towards qualification and also qualified counsellors / psychotherapists of various modalities.  I also have experience of supervising lifestyle / well-being coaches.  

As a supervisor I carry with me the philosophy that underpins my practice as an integrative psychotherapist.   I hold an awareness of the importance of our individuality and my approach recognises this, by offering flexibility dependent on the individuals needs (both the person I am working with and the client(s) they are bringing).  As well as focussing on what is happening in the here and now,  I also hold a curiosity about the unconscious processes which are present within both the therapeutic and supervisory relationship, and what these unconscious processes may be trying to communicate to us.    I utilise a relational / developmental approach and tend to integrate aspects of transactional analysis, play therapy, attachment theory, gestalt and object relations. I believe that supervision is a place where we should be able to discuss all aspects of our work without fear of judgement or embarrassment and I aim to provide a space that provides this.
